I'm running mainsail on my rpi 3a+, and have experienced network problems over a longer period of time now.
Frequently when I'm trying to open the web interface, the server is not online, and I think the pi is disconnected from WIFI. At least it doesn't appear in an Ip scanner.
I have googled the problem, and I have disabled network management. This improved the frequent network problems, as before it was offline almost every time I was trying to access it.
A wild guess is that the interface is online about 50% of the times I open mainsail.local.

I usually just have to wait it out to come back online. This usually takes about 1-20 hours, and will crash again at any moment.
I have tried disconnecting it from power, and letting it boot up again. But this rarely fixes the problem.

The server is offline at the moment, so i cannot attatch any logs. But I will happily send them when its online again. Which ones do you suggest sending?

No. However I recognize the name. Correct me if I'm wrong, but its built in to mainsail, right? Whats its purpose? Cant find a description on the github page.

Nope, but it's installed on MainsailOS. Mainsail is only running in your browser
A small Keepalive daemon for MainsailOS (or any other Raspberry Pi OS based Image).
A better description would be:
A small Keepalive daemon for your wifi module

It's a known problem that the wifi can disconnect and most of the times only come back if you restart

#

But, a restart doesn't help you always, and it reconnects after a long time. So it could be that your wifi signal is pretty bad maybe

#

That it sometimes drop if someone is on their smartphone or something like that

We already saw all possible weird behaviours ^^
