#Can't connect via SSH, I enabled SSH in the Raspberry Pi imager, but connection always times out

Actually, I wonder if there is some sort of issue with the Pi. While I can connect to it through the Mainsail web interface, it sometimes takes several minutes to do so, and I can't make any changes in the file system, nothing happens. I think it is repeatedly disconnecting or something
Having the same issue, If i remember correctly I just flashed mainsailos via Raspberry pi flasher and left all default except wifi credentials. Is there a default user/password to SSH into Mainsail?
Saw someone say that the problem was probably bad reception. So I set up a personal hotspot on a unused windows laptop, put the pi next to it, and connected the pi to the hotspot. Also disabled windows updates. All my network issues seem to be gone now. It sucks that I have to have a whole desktop operating system running to accomplish this, but without wiring Ethernet to my room or maybe buying a USB antenna, it is the best temporary solution that my tech noob brain knows of.
SSH must be enabled in the PI Imager.
the PI Foundation does not allo that anymore you need to set an user/Password and enable SSh
yes the Pi wifi chipset sucks, its a know problem
Ended up backing up my settings and reflashing to get SSH going again. Thanks for the response.
