#usb powered hub pi not booting

i have a buck converter that powers a usb hub and the usb hub is connecterd to the pi. as long as power is plugged into the hub via buck pi is not booting so every time i wanna start the printer i have to unplug the power of the hub from the buck start the printer and after put back the power cable to the hub

What voltage does your buck converter output?

Just wanted to confirm that you aren't using something like 12V ^^

:)) no no i have another buck more advanced for powering the pi and it has a display and I can see that pi doest boot because is showing on that buck 0 amps

From what I red on google it is a will known issue they do sent power back to pi and that why pi doest start

I hâd a similar issue with the controller board and for that I hâd to remove the jumper that allows controller board to send back current to devices via usb

On the hub you can only isolate it power pins of the usb A cable

Use 2 small stripes of capton tape

i covered the 5v pin still doesnt boot do i have to cover the ground as well?
