#cant start mainsail in website
29 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hi, can you give more information maybe? My answer for this informations would be that your device isn't connected properly to your network or you are trying to connect with the hostname but it's not allowed by moonraker.
How do you try to access the website, ip or hostname? What device are you using for Mainsail and how do you connect it to your local network? Can you ping it with the device you are trying to connect to Mainsail with the command ping <ip-of-mainsail-device>? If you can ping it, what does the url <ip-of-mainsail-device>:7125 is showing you?
So how are you trying to connect? ip or hostname?
So you installed mainsail and klipper on an octoprint image?
Klipper and Octoprint are 2 different ways to control your printer.
What site?
maby its wrong linus image?
So you had an Octoprint image before and now switching to Klipper, got it 😄
These are the official documentations: https://docs.mainsail.xyz/
A modern and responsive user interface for Klipper. Control and monitor your printer from everywhere, from any device.

I would suggest to use a MainsailOS image for your pi
That comes with everything you need
Also it seems like the tutorial says to use MainsailOS too.
You mean there are a lot to choose from, right? Just follow from here on: https://docs-os.mainsail.xyz/getting-started
Raspberry Pi imager would install you the right one
MainsailOS supports several types of SBC. Click on the applicable card below to get the to the right guide for your SBC.
I would suggest an the second one, the rpi32.img.xz as 64bit is useless for klipper and mainsail.
Or just use raspberry pi imager, it makes everything a lot easier and you can setup wifi and so on directly in it
okej try that thx fore all help and fast respons
Sure, you're welcome. If everything is working after the installation, please consider closing the post.
