I asume your dns server still routes the IP of the old Wi-Fi connection to mainsailos.local
Depending of your DNS setup that could take everything from a few hours to several days
i selected in the imagere as hostname Mainsail.local so i need to wait a few hours/days and then i can acces it via that hostname
Than you did something wrong! mainsail would be the hostname. .local is added by the dns server
so as hostname i need to select nothing
If you like mainsailos than yes
oke than automatic in a few days i can access it via mainsailos.local
No as said if you specify mainsail.local it would be mainsail.local.local
I was not there when you do the settings before flashing
Use the ip ssh in and make a screenshot
how can i find out the ip
i got the ip
192.168.68.99
how you mean of what do i need to make a screenshot
SSH in the pi and make a screenshot of that screen, there I can see your hostname
Ok your hostname is Mainsail so Mainsail.local should work
nope or do i need to wait
As I said I do not know your dns setup … I can take time
Your DNS server is most likely part of your router, that’s nothing we can help here
oke
so i just need to way a few hours / days
but why does the ip / host address something to do about the dns server
nv i dont even know whats a dns server
ohhh dns stands for Domain Name System
i see on a forum of my router it takes about 24-48 hour's until it updates
i did the same set up by a friend but i doesn come up
and i wont appears on the
