Dont know why you have a webcam.txt but no, not possible. The Streamer can not deliver a better quality as your cam provides, so I think in terms of Image Quality they are equal...
The camera brings a better resolution on the PC. Therefore my question. Can be that I still have the Webcam.txt, thereby I have not yet made an update.
Ah ok, you'd used KIAUH or something like that to get up and running.. In MainsailOS crowsnest is default, therefor my question
The maximum Resolution depends on your network connection. It might improve resolution and framerate but its simply limited by your connection
If you use a wired connection might be possible you could go full blown what cam delivers but as said no garantee it will...
Kiauh or the like was not used. Mainsale OS with Raspberry Pi Imager was installed. I try the days times Crowsnest to install. Maybe the resolution will change, the printer is connected to a gb network, speed should not be a problem.
Oh, ok, then it is a real old Image. Nice to see
Newer verions show the MainsailOS version in the mashine tab as well
No need for as long it is running, simply install crowsnest, it will ask to remove webcamd.
Thx
Hi unfortunately have a problem, have all updated and installed Crowsnest. Unfortunately was not asked if I want to remove the webcam.txt. Have now both, unfortunately, the camera responds only to the Webcam.txt. Crowsnest is ignored.
Please show output of sudo systemctl status webcamd
Ok, something went wrong or I have a bug in the installer. Simply run sudo systemctl disable webcamd --now reboot after
Now the webcam does not work at all?
You have to setup your crowsnest.conf according to your camera.
See its README on how to.
Did I or do I understand something wrong?
Found the error. Unfortunately, the resolution was 1920 x 1080 and you must not disc with distance. Now it works. Thanks
