In order to continue my install of Klipper, I need to have a bootloader on my mainboard. Which is a creality 1.1.4, which is a melzi board. My main board's processor is an Atmega1284p. I would like to install the bootloader using my Raspberry Pi 4's GPIO pins. I found this guide

I was wondering if it works, and also does the board need to be powered on while burning the bootloader. I really don't want to brick my mainboard, so any help available is very much welcomed, thank you

Hi, in this guide you'll learn how you can flash a boot loader on your board using the raspberry Pi or similar. Hardware you'll need A PI (Any PI will do) 6 x female-female jumper cables ( Unless your pi does not have header then you need 6x female-male jumper cables ) Software You'll need Download and Install Putty https://www.chiark.greenend...
