#Connection issue to the rpi through ip and [name].local.

sorry it took so long
it turns out that the ip address was changed for some reason but that doesn't explain why ender.local doesn't work
hi, im also running into a similar and this is what my mainsailos.local:7125 says
try connecting a monitor or connect so you can see the screen in some way and then it will say what the ip is
possibly yours did change too
im connected to it via a lan cable and was able to be connected just yesterday so i dont get whats wrong
Although yesterday I tried using microsoft edge and it worked, then stopped working, so i went back to chrome and it started connecting normally
then I refreshed the page today and no go
thats the thing, idk what the ip is
ssh into it with pc or connect a screen
if youre talking about the ip shown here
it doesnt work
yeah mine is different from the one that showed up there
to ssh you need the ip no?
my rpi has a normal hdmi port
i thought it would show you the startup logs for some reason
its a 3B
then connect to a monitor and reboot it
once you do that start from the bottom and scroll up
pretty early on it should say something like
my ip is 1.1.111.111.
oh alright ill try that
I plugged a keyboard in to scroll and it’s registering my arrow keys as some other keys
Ok nevermind it’s working as arrow keys now
and now it connects
i have no idea what the hell i did except for refresh the page
but it didnt work the first 30 times i refreshed the page
im so lost
lmao
oh goodie it disconnected and wont initialize again
on both chrome and edge
right after i set it to turn on the heaters
it wouldnt be so bad if it was the first time this has happened
but this is the third time with no permanent fix
OH I FIXED IT
i ssh'd into the pi then ran this command
sudo journalctl -xe -u moonraker.service
then found the ip and just used that ip on my web browser
