Also theres a crossing to the north so you can buggy out your goods instead and yes montoya you can but im unsure of how radation works if you build within the radiation zone and theres only two islands that are quite small to build on that are outside the rad zone

I just did the storyline part that took me to the wreck in the radiation zone. I prepped, put down a respawn stake and everything, but no PVP was had. I guess everybody finished this part a long time ago.

You can either farm science chest aka purpleloot chests or sell things to the vendor i learned about mk 4 5 rad suits today i guess you can sell them in town to vendors i have been just running loot box routes to make solari and learn rare patterns

i personally like the current set up of main base central, build small basses close to major hubs of what we need "ie the base in hagga rift for crystals" mind them with vehicles at the locations and then using aircraft to shuttle them back,
the assault thopter carrys 1k as opposed to the scouts 500
i think since were flying its fine since getting from any of the map edges to base is realisticly only about 45 seconds

@somber lantern cant add storage, or move anything, or expand the HQ any so going to keep doing warehouse for now, trying to organize as we go. hq is like the factory and the warehouse is a warehouse i guess. there will be a storage buddy TRAM to go from one to the other in the future. oh, gunnar was upgrading all the vics and doing some organizing so they are mostly all broken down if anyone needs a vehicle or parts check the vehicle storage area when he completest that 🙂

Im confused by this game design of how you are supposed to find these trainers. Take the Planetologist for example. First one is easy, but the second round of training you need to know he is magically appearing at some testing station. Where does the game give you a hint he is there so you can do the second level of training?

yeah its wierd how the do loot sharing (not sharing) in PVP tho gunnar and i are testing today and tomorrow. we built a decent base early after the storm pretty close to E line, its got everything we need except penta but putting that in today, and we are super down for weekend raids!! everyone should have access to the DD base, and will always ofc. also everyone should have access to the Big TEST Hangar Base and we will keep it stocked with spare thopters, buggies, spares parts, and ingots, mats

To be honest, having two big bases will be a headache. We will eventually need to pool everything important into a single base for long term storage when people will inevitably take long breaks from the game. One person needs to log in and pay the taxes to keep things alive. We will also have to create tiered access so only top level members have access to the important stuff and newer arrivals only have access to low level stuff.
I think we if move our main base further south we could even connect the two 😄

Devs are going to make flour sand harder to get. I suggest loading up a few boxes full from the safe flour sand spawns quickly

Yeah the current base has 3 squares over hanging worm territory. We cant expand backwards towards Citizendads TEST Towers because the extension is too long.
We need to move the fief itself further south and rebuild... but if we are going to be rebuilding for the long term, perhaps we should consider moving to this new location.
Some considerations first, we dont know if the original owner comes back and bitches about it.. so lets give it 2-3 weeks
if there is nothing by then, I think its safe to consider it ours.

I know why these bases go offline
when you check your fief it will say 15days or something like that
but the way it calculates it is based off current energy generation
so if you have generators and turbines... your turbines could run out of fuel before your generators
so while you have 15 days of energy at current levels, say 2 wind turbines go offline
you now have 3 days
so people are going on a 1-2 week vacation and not fueling up properly
If you do take a break, disable everything
make sure ALL the power generators have sufficient fuel

Ok, gunnar deleted the fief.. we waited a bit and I rebuilt one downstairs in the garage area, blocked off. The West side of the base and front is exposed, so it will start breaking down now

You can accidentally give your thopter away instead of the items you meant to give away. That would be very silly if that happened to you. I speak from experience.
