As a person who had a therapist when I was very little, I didn't understand why I went to a therapist. Turns out, my school asked me to go to a therapist to see if I was diagnosed with autism. Turns out, I don't have autism.
However growing up I keep seeing people telling me I should talk to a therapist and genuinely consult my life problems to them.
I understand the concept of a therapist or psychist, I just don't know how it feels.
Do people really improve / get better / feel better after they consulted with a therapist?
and yes, I really want to consult with a therapist or anyone to be quite fair, but I fear to be judged or to be unhappy after therapy sessions.
I fear disappointment.
