#Random Items - Party Settings

So as ive played random items with my friends for ages at a time, I would like to suggest some features to the empty game settings menu on this gamemode!

Allow Nether
We are not able to enter the nether inside the game (yes ive lit a portal and tried) so it would be cool if we could make nether portals (which in itself is very hard to do already)

Grace Period
The grace period is very short and the game is very luck dependent so the option to be able to extend the time since its already 15s would be amazing

Item/Block Types
A feature to enable/disable certain item/block types would be amazing. Like you could disable things from one of these selections:

  • Blocks
  • Weapons
  • Tools
  • Armor
  • Archery
  • Buckets

(Or make it so you can change the weight of these) - Credits for inside the bracket all go to @tiny epoch

Height Limitations
The ability to add a maximum height limitation in-game would be very useful to stop things like, people with pickaxes mining, and people with blocks going to the height limit and camping for most of the game (this ruins game experience if your unlucky enough)

Border Shrinking
There should be the option to allow a shrinking world border because it will make the games go much faster and also force players who skycamp and all that go near the middle of the map

Drop Timings
The ability to choose when the item drops drop would make it easier to understand when the next random item is coming, so we can set it to like, everyone gets a random item every 1 minute or something (1-2 minutes minimum to prevent lag)

Other Player Pickup
A setting that allows you to pickup everyone else's items if they have dropped them on the floor

Random Block Drops
A way to make the game even more random by breaking blocks to give a random item right back to you

I think all of these should be game rules, also after 30 minutes the border shrinks to about 100 blocks automatically.

Maybe the Item/block types could also have weights instead of just toggling them. Sometimes you go more than 3 drops without any blocks and it is frustrating.

Nah I mean food shouldn't be much of an issue if it's everywhere and either way saturation can be set as an option not forced

Well a build limit was already discussed to reduce that

And also the saturation makes the game feel a lot more easier since you can just regenerate and It doesn't feel as hard of a challenge like manhunt

People are already doing 1v10 and I think it would be interesting seeing how a person would play without those benefits

Like you could do some much damage to someone but if they have full diamond armor they have the opportunity to run away throughout the whole game since it will regenerate and that's the thing I feel can be avoided with this as a feature
