The problem isn’t the ranking system, it’s the fact that there aren’t enough players to constantly match against the same rank. As the game grows you’ll match more consistently against players at your rank. (One thing you can try is only excepting matches that pop up in the first minute or so of queuing, but idk if that’s technically manipulation of some kind)
