I had my frontpage config nicely slimmed down but with a recent update I again have like all kinds of stuff on there again. I basically only need recently played there and the player list. How do I get rid of "Top picks" and all that stuff again?

Select the user name in the navigation menu and then EDIT HOME SCREEN. There is then the ability to show or hide each row and adjust the order. Select Leave edit mode to return to the normal view.
Currently we cant prevent any NEW discovery rows from popping up initially - that is something we might need to address in the future. Until then you just need to manually remove the rows you don't like
