Hi everyone, I'm encountering an issue with my Yamaha amp in Music Assistant and I'm looking for some help.
The Issue:
Music Assistant works perfectly fine initially. However, once the Yamaha amp is turned OFF, two things happen:
Power On Failure: Music Assistant cannot turn the Yamaha amp back on automatically when I try to start playback.
Sync/State Lock: If I manually turn on the amp (via the physical button or the Home Assistant entity), Music Assistant still refuses to play music. It seems to have lost connection or state awareness of the player.
Workaround:
The only way to restore control and playback is to restore all the players to def and also fully restart the Home Assistant server. After the restart, it connects and plays immediately until the next power off event.

The exception for MusicCast you are having in your log is already fixed upstream, but not yet in a current beta release. It will also be back ported to stable. If we are lucky, that will already fix your issue. So please report back once a new release is available.
Ah, because I saw this the other day and got excited—I thought it was for this problem.
