Help Authentication with custom backend like fastify

Guys I have an frontend application built with Next.js 16 and a backend built with Fastify for the api, I need to implement the authentication with token based, but in front I dont use Better-auth ou next-auth libs beacuse the integration it complicated for me, do you have an example of implementatio? Because I need to maintain the server-component funcionality so if I implement only with localStorage and useClient I loose this features, beacause is a mini ecommerce so I need the server -component features for the SEO.

You can make use of cookies without the secure flag

you will need to setup cross domain cookies at your backend

non secure cookies can be access at client as well as server
