Does it worth to use Shopify storefront api with Nextjs frontend?

Hey guys,
I wanted to ask you guys this that is it easy to integrate Shopify in Nextjs? Is it only done with graphql? and what about the auth? I mean how does the cart and everything will be handled? Is it cached (from what I know that you only add the item to your cart and it gets cached, and when you place an order it just asks your details and emails you, without logging in or anything)
