Icon not getting applied over the webpage

I have my custom icon in @/app/icon.png and I have deleted the favicon.ico but still its not getting applied over localhost.
This is inside export const meta

 icons: {
    icon: '@/app/icon.png',
    shortcut: '@/app/icon.png',
    apple: '@/app/icon.png'
  }

I have deleted all the default icons yet this one is showing up instead

Nevermind the nextjs config was configured to not allowed any png ```js

I fix it by add icon.png
