I dont know if this is a bug or just some random feature but when you use the RB scroll, the random tps resets and you need to reroll them once again. When using the Heart of Homonculus, the random tp which you had before, follows into the new class.
I was thinking this might be tied to the fact that changing class "within" a race would require different random tps, but that´s not the case. In fact, almost all classes uses a combination of the following random skills:
- Wild Instinct, Inner Light, Prey Upon The Weak,
- Mastermind, Phase Blade, Fatal Bind.
(I might be missing some other good skill but you get the idea).
Here is an example:
Based of the ingame price of a HoH/RB scroll vs Random TP Potions, it would make more sense for a Cardinal (with lets say Prey/Mastermind tps) who wants to change class to MB, to use 2x HoH (first changing to Gaia, and then back to Deva).
Prices:
Potion 1: 750 wcoins
Potion 2: 1000 wcoins
RB scroll: 1500 (ish) wcoins
HoH: 2500 (ish) wcoins
Probability to get the Prey/MM tps on the first try after using RB scroll is low.
I rather spend 5k wcoins to ensure I keep the tps I want than going bananas on the potions (once again).
But since we have items ingame which should support our decisions, why not make them work properly?
Otherwise, fix the pricing.
