BUG in the Room of Requirement

Hello everyone, I don't understand why I can modify all the parts, or at least the components, of the Room of Requirement but not this wall. Every time I try, the message 'Object currently in use' appears.

No, it's a thing for me as well on the vanilla Deluxe edition.

Try precise targeting the wall you want to change, just to make sure you're not accidentally targeting something else. It's a bit of a shot in the dark since I've never seen that error before, but it's worth a try

Well...worst case scenario, you'll just have to wait until that wall goes away on its own. Your RoR grows again as you keep playing. I can't tell you when exactly; I only noticed it in mine after I completed my Field Guide.

It could be that you have placed the magical loom or some other item too close to the wall. Try making some space and trying again

Happens to me in a completely empty room.

I even removed all of the pre-built furniture there.

I even tried it with the room empty, so I'll try again. I think I'll wait until the room is expanded; maybe it'll work out.

The second room never got bigger after I first got it, did it?
Either way, the same bug still applies even at the end of the game.

Then you simply haven't met the requirements yet. I can show you mine if you want proof.

@solar stream found a possible solution - change a wall into a different style than what it is right now with "Apply to all". According to Reddit comments that fixes it.

I've finished the story mode and got 100% on challenges. Is that not enough requirements?

Maybe I just didn't notice when it got bigger because I don't use the side room at all.

I have no idea I'm afraid. Like I said, I only noticed it at some point after I platinumed the game, but there could be more to it.

It would be easy to miss if you never even enter the side room, because there's another mini-cinematic that shows it expanding when you enter it for the first time after meeting these unknown criteria to make it do so

Oh, I did enter it just a few hours ago to look at some furniture that I couldn't check in the main room because it's so cluttered

Think that was like my third time entering it.
