hey, so as u can see from my second picture, i did some fan club stuff, and am trying to run with just the stuff given from my fan account, but the wand style confuses me, in the picture on the site it doesn't look like a notched wand, so is that type always random for people who get their first wand? hope i can get some help understanding this

It often looks different because the data imported from your linked Wizarding World account (via your WB Games account) includes the text descriptions and traits of your wand's wood, core, length, and flexibility for role-playing purposes and immersion, but these attributes do not automatically select a matching visual model in the game.
The actual physical appearance is determined by a separate customisation step in-game.
The game gives us as players a choice to either accept the default visual appearance provided with the linked attributes or actively select one of the 24 available wand styles and colours before finalising your choice.
interesting
i got these from a chest on a save where i locked in my wand's look, went to a previous save and am having a hard time finding them again, i kinda already figfured out chest loot is random, but will i ever find these again if i continue on the past save? @loud cedar
I'm not really sure but there's trick few people use to get the same item.
Also once you pick up the gear piece, its appearance is permanently unlocked in your Appearance collection for that specific save file.
To get the specific appearance you want, you will have to rely on luck and the game's mechanics for re-rolling chest loot.
Here is the best method to find them again:
1-Locate a Legendary Chest or a regular gear chest in the world that you haven't opened yet on your current save file. You can find general chest locations around the map and in dungeons.
2-Manually save your game right before opening the chest.
3-Open the chest and check the item you receive.
4-If you do not get the specific gloves (or their appearance is not in your "Change Appearance" menu for the glove slot), immediately pause the game and select "Load Game" to return to the manual save you just made.
5- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the chest randomly generates the specific gloves you are looking for. The chest loot will re-roll each time you load the save and try again.
Interesting, I didn't know this game had dungeons also, and this method is also interesting but how do I know what's a legendary chest and what's normal? I cant tell the difference
