#Mods not working

I honestly feel heartbroken that I can’t play my favorite game. I’ve uninstalled the game reinstalled the game. I’ve tried going in to my Mom folder, taking everything out, putting it back in reinstalling uninstalling everything that I found on the Internet to try to do this and say that it will help fix the game and nothing has worked. I have come back to do this like once every week and then I get frustrated and then I have to stop. I’ve been trying to stay for the last three hours to get my game to work and it’s not working with my mods.

It's really frustrating abd sorry for all those going through this issue.

I have tried looking around abd found this.

"It's an in-game problem, but I just managed to fix it. Kinda complicated, but worth it :3

First, you have to go to the game's files if you play on PC and it won't work if you go to the Steam's local files. In files, you'll want to go to "Documents"

Once you find the files, you'll have the "Mods" option. Click that. Once in there, you'll see a file named "87986". When you click that, it'll bring you to your downloaded mods I believe. None of the mods are actually named; all have number IDs. The Floo Companions mod ID is "1194528". Delete that file, then go into the game and redownload the mod, and hopefully that should work!

So I’ve tried this and it’s still not working and I’m gutted. I can’t play this game at all even with the patch fix that supposedly fixed this and I know it’s not anything with y’all. Thank you for trying to help.

Delete the Mods folder from the hard drive after you uninstall all the mods from the in-game mod menu. That will force the game to remake the mod folder in the hard drive & take fresh installs of the mods. The folder or one of the mods may have gotten corrupted & I've found that to clear up the game to where you can play a modded save.
