-You learn Alohomora after the first Trial.
-You can unlock additional spell slots by spending talent points, which you'll be able to use after you find the Map Chamber. This happens before the first Trial.
-I don't mod so I can't answer on that one.
-It doesn't really matter until you unlock talent points and gear upgrading.
I hv just unlocked talent points so I guess 2nd one is solved.
What trials do u mean? I doubt it's merlins trial bcz I hv already done 2 of those
You'll learn. Just keep playing.
Sounds good. Thanks
In regards to good talents for beginners, I would go with stealth talents, spell upgrades, and core talents, particularly Wiggenweld potency. It becomes redundant as you get better at the game since you quickly wind up with more Wiggenweld potions than you know what to do with, but you can reset it once you no longer need it. I'd also recommend ignoring Protego Expertise since the higher-level talent Protego Mastery is better (or you can train Expertise and then swap it out for Mastery once you're level 22).
One more thing, I read somewhere that we get 10 more points for opting out of dark magic. Is it recommended for first playthrough?
The Dark Arts talent pool isn't any different from the others, there are ten total talents under the Dark Arts pool but you don't need to buy them all or reject them all, you can pick and choose individual ones just like with the others
