By going to quest and find loot around the map
Oh so I need more explore map, okay
Yeah
You can also || sell unwanted gear and capturing and selling magical beasts. Also opening eyeball chests u get a quick 500 Galleons each and using the Revelio spell to find hidden money pouches and chests. || good luck
Thank you for help
||yeah bro eyeball chests are crazy||
Yeah....I need to unlock disillusionment but that's ahead of me😅
its funny to sneak upon opponents
Right I saw some videos of it
- explore the map
- sell gear
- unlock eye chest once you get dissillusionment spell
- catch and sell beast once you unlock vivarium
Thank you
Once you unlock talents, I highly recommend also getting the one that increases Revelio range. Can help quite a lot with finding all the stuff.
I will keep that in mind, I didn't except so many options
There are but it also gets pretty straightforward once you understand it all :)
All the time I explore this game and probably more than one thing will surprises me😅
I meant more realization that multiple playthroughs don't change all that much about the game, progression or anything like that which is what I highly hope for for whatever the next entry will be, if there'll be one.
But first playthrough certainly, first about 20-25h fun discovering all the things, but around 35-40h mark that feeling and realizing things has hit me
That's right, because I've only been playing for a week and I'm more into exploring than doing missions, but I would also expect that in the next part because it could actually make the gameplay more interesting💯
I mean I am too but also straying too much from main path I found out without progressing things in a way how the game is designed I wouldn't even actually progress (assignments, spell requirements for - not only limited to - Merlin Trials, challenges which are pretty much main way aside quests how you gain XP), this game more tells "Combine your things you're doing"
Yeah, yesterday I did Merlin Trial and it was great too, I think it's nice that there are also side missions but I still haven't discovered talents....
Progress main story to unlock those. You will get all points prior to levels, no worries.
Okay that would be correct as I've been doing mostly side missions lately😅
Thank you
Np, yeah as I said, this game is pretty much "Combine main/side/activities altogether". Do remember also XP progression is tied to your Field Guide. You are not recieving XP from kills per se, or you are at first, but once you complete challenges for those enemies, you won't anymore, and that goes the same for all activities in the FG, for example once you complete all Merlin Trials for the Field Guide requirement, any additional Merlin Trials won't give XP anymore etc.
Maybe I should actually combine main missions with side missions more, but for now I'm fascinated by this game... so I mainly explore and try to complete missions, I'll change this tactic over time
Yeah I tried to do that too than realized the game will gatekeep you on completing activities outside until you learn spells and progress at least decent amount, otherwise you straight off can't complete things, say, Treasure Vaults, even the Trials themselves, unlocking doors (oh yeah, progress on learning Alohomora to highest level ASAP so that no locks stop you from exploration) and alike
But I understand it may not be obvious at first, I might just be lucky in RPGs being among main genre I game in eheh - so that just kinda came to me naturally
That's also true, because RPGs weren't my favorite until now, and thanks to HL, that's changed, so not everything may be obvious, but with time I'll discover this game and progress will come... Luckily, I discovered Dissillusionment, so I can hunt for the chest with the eye
Mostly do side quests and maybe even ask for extra gallons if there’s an option for that! Plus look for the eye chests around hogsmead and hogwarts.
Good starting point, than broadening horizons with more RPGs will give you better idea
I'm currently at the stage where I'm doing side quests, which is why I've neglected the main part hehe but I'm also actually getting equipment
One of the few things is that you need to get everything out 100% that includes buying all the stuff from the shops that you can use inside the room if requirement… thats the problem with me, I always don’t have enough money for everything 😭
Could you recommend some RPG game? Maybe I'll find next interest in RPG games😅
I can feel you because I just had a battle with goblins and I want buy some potions so I'm searching chests to be more rich😂
I was money overflowed on 35+, keep constantly selling gear, do not ever buy prepared things, and just focus on reagents that you find in need for buying, not buying outright everything out there
Same here, wait until you get Room of Req. and grow plants + farm needed materials instead of directly buying unless being in dire need of some of them and in late game especially you'll never be out of money
Witcher saga - good storyline though the combat is not as fluid up until 3rd one.
Cyberpunk 2077 for combination with FPS, good character build crafting, story and character driven too that broke me and showed me how scary future could get and that fluid combat - patch 2.0 improved the game a whole lot.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition, more story and character driven trilogy but your choices matter a lot and influence one game after the other when you transfer finished saves.
I don't have an urgent need to buy potions because I also created them in herbalism, but I'd rather have some in stock
In mid to late game I constantly was at maximum amount, if it was not limited I'd overreach a lot xd
So you didn't buy some clothes/things right
Clothes never bought too, just explore treasure vaults, even Hogwarts itself or Hogsmeade after unlocking ||Alohomora|| fully because chests are behind those locked doors and even bandit camps/questlines that involve killing and have camps too can yield you gear, got to full legendary at about L34-35 no problem
Honestly, it didn't encourage me to buy any clothes, hehe. For now, I'm actually looking for chests with an eye, and since I'm level 10...I probably have a long way to go before I get to Alohomora
Quite a bit yes but once you encounter that quest I highly encourage to do it and learn all 3 levels of AH
Oh so it has several levels, good to know
I dunno if you might have noticed in (not only) Hogwarts already when passing there are random locks and they say Level I, II, III
Oh yes something like that I saw....doors with locks 1, I remember
Mhm so those levels correspond to AH levels that you will learn in the quest later, and the objective is not that bad although may require bit of research xd
So the higher the level the more research?
Research as in search of what the quest involves, I don't wanna spoil too much to ya
Hehe okay I understand 😂 there are so many details in this game that it can get confusing
This game to me literally is "Confusing and overwhelming at first, than straightforward and arguably notice underwhelms" xd
Then after more experience you think that this game is not too demanding...
As in every game that fits you, of course not everything fits to one glove, as is usual :)
The fact that experience does its job....I wouldn't want this game to get boring because I know how many things I still have to discover
It's not on really getting boring, just even on favorite things that we pour hundreds of hours in we can notice flaws, but love the thing even despite that
2077 is my alltime favorite despite everything wrong I see with it
I had such feelings with GTA 5 because compared to the previous part there are imperfections that are annoying....
4 is underestimated as hecc
Ikr I always prefer 4...it had another vibe and details
Then if you like GTA, then Cyberpunk may be to your liking even when it's an FPS just has elements of GTA and even then it's not close but vehicle combat, messing around with police (NCPD it's called here), and just exploring a huge city taking in the atmosphere (you'll also make sense of why it's in FP perspective). But you'll see. Those 3 I wrote are always my biggest recommendations.
