mod clothing

I downloaded two mods for clothing on my second modded character but the outfits dont show up.
The mods are specifically 'clothing' mods, so no cloaks or anything.
I downloaded the same mod on my first modded game (where i completed the main story) and in that game, they are in the inventory and i can wear them.
Is this intentional???

Well they might be gear appearances? If not you might have to look for them in loot chests or in gladrags

they arent in appearances either and i never had to look in loot chests for them. they just spawned in my inventory 😭

you might have to "purchase" it from gladrags. most of the clothing mods ive seen have you do that
