I have a problem and need help, please.

Trying to finish two assignments - from professors Garlick and Sharp. On both first part worked without any issues but second part of both - Thunderbrew potion and Mandrake doesn't work in any way. I'm trying it for few hours already.
With thunderbrew potion I even didn't use anything *(just avoided attacks)*except potion to be sure nothing else killed enemies but nothing.

I'm using some of the mods in the game, don't know if any of those can make problem with that, yet I saw many results on internet two years ago that people have same issue and still didn't find any solution. Please help, 'cause without I cannot progress with the story.

For the first part

  • You only need the potion, go to forbidden Forrest and find some goblins or something of the sort, and use the potion in the middle of them, it should start a thunder storm, and then that way it should work,

For the second part, simultaneously means one after another, it might mean use more than one enemy, so if you grasp your mandrake it should scream at them and deafen them

Also what mods do you have because you’re right, some mods do affect things.

I get your pain tho, for a while I was stuck because I couldn’t talk to NPCS because one of my mods stopped me☹️ so I had to download another mod to just access the shop from everywhere

All I had to do was walk near them with it and it worked, that’s really weird genuinely. There is a thing where you can unlock all spells but unfortunately you need to do the tasks nonetheless so it wouldn’t make sense..

even save/load game, resterted, disabled all mods except clothes mods...

yes, i saw other videos also, it should work but somehow it doesn't. same thing with mandrake

I’m not even sure why it’s doing that, my games bugged atm too so i understand the pain, im stuck on a task and everytime I go down a path it freezes. I’m not even too sure why it’s not working

They reply literally within minutes they should have an answer/sollution.

Just don’t mention the mods because they’ll presume that you have other mods and tell you to remove them😔

if i at least knew if it's mods so maybe I could do something. But don't wanna start game all over without mods and then face the same issue

yes, that mod with unlocking spells wouldn't help much cause I need to finish quests :/

Didn't noticed their second mail immediately. I got response that there is already reported bug about Madrake quest so that I post my issues in the comment on that post and about Thunderbrew potion that I report new bug in the new post. I did that and now I need to wait further cause they closed my ticked in second mail.
