Don't worry I get it, there's been a lot of times where I thought, "why is this not killing this bad guy?" But then I realized I was doing the whole game wrong.
So I thought I would put a post for you to help you get the best build you can so that way if you're more of a person that likes watching your character swiftly take down those enemies.
TRAITS
||Traits are the special magical abilities that your clothes can be sewn into them. Deek well pretty much tell you all the details when you start collecting beasts, which are also a great way to capitalize and get galleons (See Ellie at Brood and Peck in hogsmeade).||

||4 Traits of Concentration / 1 Trait of control / 1 Trait of Aincent magic||
||When you decide to take on ranrok, use 4 Traits of Aincent magic, 1 concentration,and one unforgivable, if you just want to kill him instantly||
TALENTS
||Talents are the section in your menu where you learn new abilities to go with your spells, herbology, potions, and even your movement in the game. These will be crucial in taking down a lot of your enemies||
Talents are easy to learn, but if you want to figure out which ones will be the best for you to progress through here they are.

||For your first 10 levels||
||1. Incendio mastery
2. Accio mastery (good combo with incendio)
3. Levioso Mastery
4. Disarming Curse
5. Knockback curse
6. Stunning Curse
7. Blood curse
8. Basic cast mastery
9. Spell knowledge I
10. Aincent magic throw expertise||
||After that I recommend unlocking the rest of your spells and dark arts talents as soon as possible, ESPECIALLY blood curse and crucio mastery, these two together will take out your enemies in no time||
