Traits

I’m not at the point where I have the item to put traits on my gear yet but when I do get that item what would be the best traits to get? From what I remember I picked up Herbology III yesterday.
I’m also taking the game slow so I’m lvl 21 who just now unlocked the talents and broom yesterday as well

Personally I didn't bother putting traits on my gear or changing what was already there until I was maxed out.

I had that thought where it might be unnecessary to worry about that until youre almost max level but wasnt exactly sure if I still somewhat worry about it once I had the ability to do so
I might start worrying when I’m around lvl 35 or so bc the gear goes up with your level

Yee, and you'll probably have found more traits by then, more useful ones

depends on your combat style. but in general if you're keen to try the traits out make catching kneazle/diricawl/puffskein a priority when the vivarium opens up (if it hasn't yet). as long as you have their fur/feather you can overwrite the traits as many times as you like.

I wasn’t aware that you could change the traits out freely. I thought it was a one time thing, that’s good to note

yep! you can also apply the same trait to multiple gears since the buffs are stackable.
