Well, if support isn't responding, you may be better off deleting your save and starting over from the beginning. May be quicker than waiting around for a patch.

you have to abandon the quest, force quit the game. load game back up load into your save (or another) force quit again then log in and try. that will usually reset the poppy quest bug for this one
