I am at the mission Take the biscuit help, and I have a problem. I can't find any Mooncalves, at the beginning I did but they ran away so I just said, I ll do this mission later, now I go there everytime and there are no Mooncalves. I tried going outside the blue circle and switching from day to night, I tried going to the other half of the map and coming back. I tried everything but they do not spawn. And I don't have any other missions to do except this one. Its so annoying.

Perhaps the mission restarted; maybe you have to go back and talk to Garnuff again? Failing that, I would go back to an earlier save if you can. Failing that, I don't know what to tell you.

you have to completely abandon the quest and then if that doesnt work it means the quest is bugged and sadly you wont be able to do it as theres not a fix for that particular bug yet.

To abandon a quest in Hogwarts Legacy, follow these steps:

  1. Open your quest journal with the Options button (console) or J (PC).
  2. Select the quest you wish to abandon.
  3. In the lower-right corner of the screen, select “Abandon Quest.”

Hi I have the same problem here... Did everything I read and could think of (flying over with revelio, hiding myself and waiting, talk to garnuff again and restarting the game making me fight again the bad guys but without respowning the creatures and so on...). No solution for now... I'm sad 🫠

if you opened the cage before starting the quest it is bugged and you will need to start a new save in order to do that mission. otherwise you will not be able to do it

and it most likely wont be as the known way to prevent it is to not open the giant cage of mooncalves until the quest is started. devs are currently working on a supposed dlc release, a definative version, and rumor has it HL2
