(PC) Lavender Borealis / Dark Lightning Broom not showing

I've tried going to Albie Weekes to find the new brooms for the summer update, and I just can't find them. Even in a new save, I can only see the default brooms. Anyone know how I can unlock the new brooms?

make sure you dont have any "mods" for the game. alot of them use the chunks the new skins need.

i have the lavender broom but not the dark lightning broom. even without mods it is not appearing in albie weekes's inventory

Hmm. You might have to progress a little further in the story or his quest line depending on where you're at. Also purchase one of the brooms he already has to "clear" a space.

I got the Dark Lightning Broom but not the Lavender Borealis. I'm at Level 40 with 100% Collections (except the broom) and 100% map completion, so it can't be anything related to that.

The only things odd about this character are that it was started well before the Summer Update and I didn't get any of the Dark Arts spells for this character. You'd think, if anything, the Dark Lightning Broom would be related to the Dark Arts, but maybe for some reason the Lavender Borealis is instead? 🤷‍♂️

do you have mods installed? those break the game and are NOT compatible. they mess with the latest update and will cause parts of it to not show.
