im trying to get the achievement for "using ancient magic on every enemy type in the game" but i cant remember which ones i have done and which ones i havent. is there a way to see this? also if there is a one of a kind enemy type (like the named goblins) do i have to start a whole new playthrough if i accidentally missed them?

There’s no way to track it, you could just use a guide and cross off each one as you do it.
Most miss the Poacher Animagus one which requires you to use Ancient Magic in their Wolf AND human forms.
You can’t miss any, it’s only for the regular enemy types, not Infamous Foes.
