Who called for Weasley?
No you cannot change inside of the rooms for animals from what I understand
It’s mainly the main room of requirement I want to change
Oh you can change dat
But the floors and walls are locked?
@open dock
You can change it I did it before just talk to the elf
I’ll try that one moment
What? owo
HELP
One moment.
Also you're amazing
They're not talking about ambiance, they're talking about the architecture
If Professor Weasley is still there then you probably didn't accept the quest from her that gives you the Alteration spell, which is what allows you to change the style of furniture and the architecture of the Room.
Oh yeah, I forgot that's a separate quest from actually getting the room.
I waited until the thestral was born then tried to talk to deek but I can’t seem to change the flooring or anything other than what it is on default
I did get the alteration spell but the other options are locked
I’m not sure if I have to go find them in some chest outside of hogwarts
You need to talk to Professor Weasley about changing the flooring. If she isn't still there, I don't know how to activate that quest, or if it's even possible to anymore? I can't imagine you'd be locked out of it, though? @ebon bolt
Is it either “how do I use alteration?” Or “what does the alteration spell do?” Those are my only options when I speak to her
I would choose the first. That might be it.
I did that and I’ve used alteration but let’s say I want to change the floor, I go over to botanical central floor but it’s “unavailable” and “this object is locked”?
Try both of them??
Yeah still didn’t work it’s still like the image above
So you've said both of those things to her and those are still your only two options, the dialogue won't progress?
What's your current quest goal
Nope she just tells me what it does and how it works, my next main story quest is fire and vice, it’s the one with poppy sweeting
I meant for the Alteration spell quest
You need to do that first, then.
Ahh I see! I’ll give it a go
Don't try and rush through things, don't try to skip steps
