so i have a mission that unlocks the wishing room. now professor wesley tells me to put up a herbal table and potion stand. Unfortunately I have all the stands blocked and can't complete the mission. I am blocked. in the quest hint it says : fortunately, I already have magic formulas acquired.

What do you mean they’re blocked? You would have bought the basic tables first potions and plants during that very first trip to Hogsmeade

They should have gotten enough from vanishing the piles of chairs earlier in the quest to first unlock the RoR though

But if for whatever reason you don’t have enough, Vanish the paintings on the walls and you’ll have plenty

You should have gotten them during the first trip to Hogsneade.. you literally can’t finish the quest without buying them at Tomes and Scrolls.
I see you’re playing on PC
Did you use any mods? They might be conflicting with the game.
If you skipped the Hogsneade quest using mods or something then you won’t have the things needed.
Maybe try leaving/abandoning the quest, go to Hogsneade and see if Times and Scrolls has the spellcrafts you need?

During the first trip to Hogsmeade tge hare would have been two Spellcrafts above these ones you would have needed to buy
If they’re not there or you somehow didn’t buy them (which shouldn’t be possible) either you have mods conflicting with your game or you’ve missed something
