what does the "disable snap" do on the room of requirement?

I tried pressing the button for disable snap but i dont notice anything different. What does it do?

It means that if you're moving furniture it will automatically 'snap' into place to align perfectly with other aspects of the room/other pieces of furniture; so that a chair will be perfectly aligned against the middle of a table, so to speak, or edges will be perfectly lined up. You can disable this if you want more precise control over what you're moving and if you want any 'imperfect' placement
