I've searched and found every single chest to find in the world and completed all butterfly trails, but I am missing loads of conjurations. Help please?

yes also found all those, ive looked up multiple guids on chest locations and ive gotten every single one of them even the ones that require alohomora 3

Yes. Zoom out your map all the way and it will tell you whether you've collected every chest in the highlands. If it says you're missing some, which I'd be wiling to bet it does, hover over each region to see how many you're missing in each one.

Also open your Hogwarts and Hogsmeade maps and check those too, as those chests are not included in the highlands map.

so i went and checked every chest location online and redid the entire route for all the collection chests but it still says im missing some

That's odd, the only time I've ever seen a glitch where conjurations didn't register as collected the counter still said all of them had been found. How meticulous were you? How many does it still say you're missing, and where?

If your counter says you have every chest and you made absolutely certain to find all fifteen butterfly locations, and you are still missing one 'exploration' conjuration, then I'm afraid your character may be bugged. Unfortunately, the only way I was able to fix this was to delete my character entirely and start over.

I am thankful for this thread! I'm at the same spot -- got 116/140 Conjurations and also just* finished opening all of the chests in all areas 😮💨 . Read this thread and didn't realize the vivariums would have chests O_O, and also that some butterfly frames offer them, some don't. I found this list online just to add some further guidance for anyone else who may get stuck on this:

Lumos paintings do not unlock conjurations, the 'butterflies' we are referring to are the little swarms throughout the highlands that you follow to a patch of flowers to reveal an invisible chest.
