so the heck is this? looks like someone wants to talk to me here, but i cannot find any npc at that spot who is interactable.

You'll need to look on a different floor. Unfortunately conversation icons have no direction indicator like other interactables.

but i've already checked every floor taht the icon appears on afaik.
