Field Note?

So I walk across this glass bridge, and i hear a sound that sounds like a field note is near by. But I can't for the life of me figure out where it is. Can someone help?

It happens when I'm around this area but I didn't even use revelio on a broom. Idk whats going on

Have you checked your map for what may be needed in the area?

It could help to determine if it is coming from the grand staircase or the library annex.

It could be the field guide pages in Ravenclaw Tower. The Ravenclaw bust along the staircase wall or the bronze eagle door knocker in front of the Ravenclaw common room.

I got the bust from the tutorial. Is the ravenclaw near by to that bridge?

I believe the potions classroom is in the tower to the left and the Ravenclaw common room is the tower on the right (in the picture).

You can fast travel to your common room, walk out the door, and turn around to see the eagle.

I went into the common room and looked at the eagle. No note. I went to the potions classroom. Nothing

I'm not sure how many pages you have collected but there are 150 in the castle.

Hover over the castle areas on the map and it will show you how many of everything you have in each area (on the top right).

That could help narrow it down to which area you need to be looking. Also, as the other person said, spam revelio. The louder it sounds the closer you are getting, the fainter it sounds the further away.

Also, look for the pages hidden in the confringo torches, the levioso statues, moth mirrors, and the accio flying pages.

And, look around for collection chest and demiguise statues; they could be the ones chiming and glowing with revelio.

The only solution I found: open your field guide, go to settings, go down to accessibility options (the icon with the person), and turn on the audio visualizer.

This option when turned on allows you to see a bell icon in the direction of the sound (also footstep icons, etc)

I turned on the audio visualizer and nothing shows up on it

Interesting. Maybe it isn't that close to you. In the video, the revelio ripples away like a wave and the chime sound takes about 3 seconds after you've cast it.

For me, if I am on top of it, it chimes as soon as I cast.

Yeah, especially since that is almost the center of the castle. Most of everything was on foot within the castle though for the exception of the qudditch pitch, the landings, bridges, the perimeter walls, and the docks.

this is also the sound of legendery chest or of a legendery chest appearing such as what happens in find the butterflies quest
