I'm stuck on the quest "Back on the Path". For some reason i can't speak to Professsor FIg in the Map Chamber... had that bug for over a month now. Restarted and reinstalled the game multiple times... nothing worked. This has already been reported multiple times and never been resolved in the latest patches. I enjoyed the game very much until now (almost 100h and didn't even finish the main quests). Any help?

are you running the game from epic games or steam?

are you sure that your game is on the latest version?

if it is then you can try and make a bug report, if it is not update the game to the latest version and if it still doesn't work make a bug report

of course before you do that try to use the abendone quest button.

i'm 100% sure it's updated. I tried everything from abadoning the quest, reload from an older save file, verify integrity of game files... i stopped playing and hoped the latest patch would fix the problem but that wasn't the case. The bug has already been reported multiple times in the last 2 months but for some reason the threads have been flagged as irrelevant and been deleted. I spent hours looking for a solution but it seems the bug only appears rarely. It's very frustrating to see game devs working on minor graphic bugs while ignoring game breaking issues.

I am not sure how the process of reporting as bug works but if there is a part where you give them your email I'd check that email for any reply.
