Bug/Issue with Alohamora.

I mentioned this in one of the text channels, but my game flat out refuses to acknowledge that I have unlocked all Alohamora levels at all. I finished the quests with Mr. Moon and got the Demiguise statues but anytime I go to a lock above level I, the game says I need to unlock all levels when I already have them.

Repairing the game did not fix this issue.

So Mr. Moon quests are showing up in "completed quests" and alohamora is doing no better than level 1? I remember there being a bug for these quests but I think it was the opposite. People were getting the spell upgrade but not able to advance the quests because the count of statues being turned in wouldn't update in the quest log. Yet they were still getting the spell upgrade and I saw someone say they even received dialogue to wrap up the quest. Maybe check the completed quest notes and see if it has a count of how many you turned in? I tried looking up more info but that's all I've got....sorry...bad glitch for sure.

Yeah, they're all completed but the spell just never "evolved" past I,

Despite having all the questline finished and having all the statues.

Found an old thread with someone having the same issue but some iffy solutions, lol. "I turned in moons and did not get upgrade so I just advanced main story quest and once I finished Transfiguration I went back and Mr. Moon upgraded spell to level 2". I don't suppose you have a save from before you completed the quests do you? Not sure what else it could be....hope you get some more useful help.

i dont have any, sadly. it was the last quest i needed to.

I'm surprised you were able to finish the quest because I remember right many of the statues being behind level 2 doors but maybe level 1 was just enough to get you to the 22 I think you need to complete the quest. Tried talking to him at various times in the day just to see if anything changes?

I dont know why it worked at one point to now showing up as not leveling up at all. I love this game, but some of the bugs go from minor annoyances to gamestopping.

Yea I'm checking the statue list and you would've needed level 2 unlock to find the number of statues you need to advance to level 3 and finish the quest. Level 1 alone will not provide enough. So if you had the upgrade and lost it then yea....major bug indeed. Hope you get a fix...will keep you in mind if I happen across the same issue or a fix at some point.

I hope you get there. Game has its complications for sure but it is so much fun. The glitches/bugs make one feel a bit on edge while playing though. And this one you've come across sounds like an "ugh" one. I'd be driving myself crazy assuming I had missed something.

I have. I look up guides and go, "WHAT AM I MISSING"

But after testimg I found it was alohamora. xD
