Hello. So I’ve had a great time playing the games since it released on Xbox ONE but yesterday something happened. My game suddenly disappeared and whenever I go to play it, I get the “do you own this game” notification. I’ve checked my system and everything seems to be running fine as far as I’m aware but for some reason my game wont allow me to start. Another thing is whenever I go to the Xbox store to check on the game, it says that it’s currently unavailable. I have no idea what’s happening or if it’s just me and I’d like to know or at least have some help.

It definitely isn't. Microsoft doesn't pull things like this. It sounds more like a licensing error. Most likely there was a minor update on Microsoft's end. Xbox One and X|S are two different consoles/platforms. Digitally, they show up as different "games". There is one for the X|S and one for the One. Other games that are backwards compatible don't normally show up as such, but these versions released at separate times.
So, this sounds more like the reason. There's an error in the coding that makes it appear as separate games, instead of "backwards compatible". Hopefully that makes sense.
