Yeah it’s used in the music titled “Hall of the Keepers” in the official soundtrack
niice i love lacrimosa sooooo much
im literally mozart fanboying rn
Yeah! Lacrimosa is public domain stuff anyone can use it or derivatives of it in pretty much anything.
It’s fitting to use for a piece titled Hall of the Keepers considering the memories for the Pensieve are delivered as “tears” from the statues. As Lacrimosa means “weeping”
TRUE
omg pls send help SOS im fanboying over mozart
I recognised it immediately when I heard it being used as a motif
I was like “yo that’s Lactimosa, you can’t fool me.”
It’s an oddly melancholy piece. Very somber
i like to think of it as the villain comeback music. imagine this.
an evil dracula-esc villain sitting in his castle. specifically his lair inside it.
surrounded by books, big af paintings and portraits and murals and candles.
and in the very end of the big villain hallway lair thing, a big chair for him to sit in. imagine him sitting in it. staring into the void, thinking about his career or something bad.
lacrimosa fits for that EXACT scenario
@proud bluff what do you think? tell me your version
Like a loss of innocence almost.
Mourning what they could have been, and knowing that they are something else entirely.
And it’s something they can’t undo. Only accept and be what they are.
damn thats deep.....
Lol I write as a hobby.
And angsty, slightly tragic bad guys are my jam
wrote like writing authorism?
Oop I meant write lol
I just write for fun. Not professionally.
It’s just a fun hobby
I don't remember what music is but isn't Lacrimosa, I'm Italian and I love Mozart.
The song “Hall of the Keepers” does use Lacrimosa as a motif during the track.
You can hear it at night sometimes in the castle and a few other times during or just after quests
oh yes, that is, sorry I've mean another motif. 😄
Are you thinking of the String Quintet bit used for the stringed instruments in the DADA tower?
exact. 🙂
