What are these spell symbol boxes supposed to do?

They open the door/passageway to a treasure vault.

they correlate to a spell some have feathers which need to be hit with levioso fire needs incendio or confringo and ice need glacius the symbols on the ground where you put them also correlate to those things

So what do I do here? I placed the block on the symbol and cast Galicus Nothing Happened?? 🤔@brave swan

Do the colors match? Usually the spot on the ground and the block emanate the same color, either orange or purple.

it looks like you have a incendio/confringo box on a glacius symbol you need to find a box that matches

Generally the door is right near the ground symbol. Once you cast the correct spell while it’s on the ground symbol the door magically opens…ie bricks move out of the way. Then you can enter the treasure vault.
