Isn't the Phoenix side quest supposed to occur after you captured and breaded Threstrals and Deek tells you rescue the Phoenix?

Not sure. How many of Poppy’s quests have you done? I do believe she mentions the Phoenix at one point and that could be a part in prompting it.

I looked up the Phoenix Quest on YouTube and he said Deek gives you that quest

Yeah he does. Try finishing Poppy’s first then, or at least do a few more and see if that helps? I finished hers for the most part and I was prompted for the Phoenix quest afterwards.

One thing ive noticed is the side quests keep stopping and starting they aren't continuous. Its very evident that Something else in the game needs to happen before the chapter of the side quest occurs @lofty sluice

Yeah, I’m trying to think what I did leading up to that point. The side quests I worked on were Sebastian’s, Natty’s and Lodgok’s. I also did all of my assignments. It could be any of those, really.
