#Game hangs every so often right after finishing a (boss)fight.

Hia, after 76 hours of gameplay all running fairly smoothly i've started playing today and noticed some big hangs, it does not seem often but is definitely very disrupting.

Computer Specs

Intel i7-12700k 3.6 GHz
Corsair 32GB DDR4-3600 CL18
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVME (BOOT)
Seagate Barracuda Fast SSD (Game install)
MSi Suprim X 3070ti
Corsair RM850x (2021) ATX PSU

Game Install

  • HL is installed on a Seagate Barracuda Fast SSD (USB C) and has always been
    connected to one of the fastest USB C ports on my motherboard.
  • OBS is recording in the background to a separate SSD and does not report any
    frames dropped.
  • Graphics are set almost all to High according to Global recommended preset
    (No RTX reflections Shadows or Ambient Occlusion)
  • Rendering resolution is 1281x721 (67%) to 1920x1080 using NVIDIA DLSS, no added
    sharpness
  • Reflex Low latency is set to ON «- Maybe turn that off?
  • Motion blur, DOF, Chromatic Abberation and Film grain are all ON

What I have already tried

  • Verified Game Integrity on Steam
  • Restarted my PC
  • Not running OBS
  • Not running Discord
  • All other games seem fine

How much room have you got left on your drive?

Boot drive: 227 GB of 930 GB 24.5 %
Install drv.: 716 GB of 931 GB 76.9 %

Install drive only has games on it and barely changes in size, but as a precaution I have moved some data off it considering its just above 75%, good call!
I'll be trying the game with the following situation:

Boot drive: 532 GB of 930 GB 57.2 %
Install drv.: 411 GB of 931 GB 44.1 %
