can somebody please confirm If you can broom your way through ancient magic on higher than story

Can somebody please confirm If you can do ancient magic challenges on your broom on higher difficulties than story because I've been able to get four bars without much challenge just by flying through the challenges

I used my broom for a few Ancient Magic hotspots playing on Normal. I don't think difficulty matters for these things...

Wasn't sure if enemies spawned and or it had more flight restricted areas
