Are you hitting the different colored orbs with the same color spells? Also dodge a lot. Make sure your stacked on wiggenweld potions.

I suggest to have your gear all legendary, and fully upgraded. Put Herbology 3 enchant on every piece. Have a full set of mandrakes, and chomping cabbages.
Make sure you slot one of each color of combat spells on each of your spell bars. So, F1, F2, F3, F4 should all have 1 of each color because, (correct me if I'm wrong here) his spell shields can only be busted by the spell once. For example, say he has a purple shield, and you use Dipulso, it breaks, he casts another purple spell later, if you use Dipulso again it won't break. You need to use flipendo, or another purple spell. I might be wrong on that tho.
Also, I haven't tried using the venomous tentacula to pop his shields, so I don't know if they would cover the range to pop them all, but they might be a good assist.
Once his shields are down, and he can be damaged grasp your mandrake, and bust his eardrums! The damage from mandrakes in fully upgraded enchanted gear is ridiculously OP! I one shot almost everything I come across, and since it's AOE it takes out whole bandit camps at a time if you sneak in with an invisibility potion. Chomping cabbages are great for damage too, so if the mandrake isn't enough toss a few of them out too. Good Luck!

also as it was not mentioned ( and in case you are having trouble still ), if you run out of healing potion there are i think 3available around the edge of the platform 🙂 this helped me very much, also you can throw back the rocks that the dragon shoots at you ( i do not think that this was mentioned above?) this does a good amount of damage as long as you time this correctly
