Hey all,
So my map tells me that I got all infamous foes in all the regions, but the challenge book still says I miss 1. I have backtracked, flew everywhere while using revelio, been into dungeons again where some infamous foes were and nothing to be found.
Does anyone have an idea or solution?

Some side quests and main quests give you a location where you can fight them, so if you defeat all enemies, you'll naturally fill up the book's enemy collections.

Yes, every single quest. But it's not saying I have some quest unfinished, it's literally that only thing from the challenge book.

I have been everywhere, done every quest. The map shows I have ALL infamous foes in every region, but the book didn't add one of them up. So it keeps showing I have missed one, even though I haven't.

Yeah, a lot of ppl seem to have this issue. I don't really care about the book saying that I miss one, I just wished that we could still get some EXP to make sure we get to lvl to 40. I am stuck on lvl 39. And since I am an achievement hunter, it bugs me that I can't get the achievements of using all talent points.

Is your enemy collection full? If you are missing an Infamous Foe, then telling us all the unique names might help narrow where to find the last one.

I just checked, cause honestly, didn't think of that, but sadly yeah, it says 67/67.

@tall latch I would check some of the optional bosses along the main quest. For example, the goblin in the mine where ||logdok dies||. You can open the flame next to the elevator and not fight him, which will make you miss one ennemy.

The only thing I can think of doing is using a YouTube guide to all infamous foes locations and pray for the best. But the sad thing is, if they have already been killed, they will not respawn. I'm currently on second playthrough with a different character. Maybe it will work on this one 🤞🏼

I really think if it doesn’t appear as missing in any region of the map, it must be a main quest one…

Shouldn't be possible, since I have completed all the quests 🤷♂️ . But then again, something similar happened on this playthrough as well, in the collection book it said I had all field pages in Hogwarts Castle, but the map said I missed one, so I backtracked (with the help of YouTube, cause was getting tired of running allover the place) and I did miss one hanging fire basket. and when I got the page, it didn't show up on the screen, so the collection book had already counted it even though I had not collected it....
So, after I am done with this playthrough, I'll go back to my main one and will check all the infamous foes locations again and hope for the best.

@coral talon And if so, which would be the easiest to miss? Cause I got all collection chests which should (kinda) imply that I have been in every location (even during quest missions) to be able to collect those.

Collections count only revelio pages, not field guide pages, so burners/flying/statue pages will not show up on screen after getting the challenges.
Not really. As i said, the one in the coastal mine is the easiest one to miss that comes to my mind.
Though it should appear on the map, there are also temporary bosses. The inferii brother of a shopkeeper only shows up during a single quest. It still counts for region bosses, though
There is also, I think, a boss in henrietta’s hideaway. Not sure about it, though.
But basically, easiest thing to do would be going to all cairns and checking for bosses in them. The absconder was missing for a few people as well, and it’s not in a main quest spot, but you pretty much need to kill it for a quest

Yeah, am planning on doing that. Though it seems my game is just f****d… now on my second play through I have another issue… there is only 1 collection chest in Horklump Hollow and I have just gone through it twice in a row and I have that one chest, but when I hover over the entrance on the map, it says 0/1 collection chest. And I notice that, right before you exit the cave, if I use revelio, it shows another chest above me, but there is no way to get there… I guess this game just really hates me and doesn’t want me to fully complete any play through 😔

Some chests are hard to get too. If it shows, it should be accessible one way or another

Trust me, there isn’t. The way up is caved in and there is no way around. Besides, when I google how many chests are in that cave, every post says there is just one and I have that one, though once again, the game didn’t count it or something else is going on.
It is a very small “dungeon” and the one collection chest is through a small hidden opening at the point where you defeat the troll and yet it keeps saying I don’t have, even though that chest is opened when I get to it. ((Still doesn’t explain that other chest it shows near the entrance and when you look up after using revelio)) I don’t understand why this game keeps bugging out on me…

I don't have my gaming pc here with me, but I'll look into it afterwards... I feel like it might be similar to moonstone cave, where you have a whirlpool leading you to the collection chest.

I do use Steam. Just let me know if you know of a solution or anything. That would be much appreciated. Sadly this happened also on my second play through, so both play throughs are bugged for me and I will probably not hit lvl 40 on both of them. Strangely I got the achievement for hitting it on my main, it my main character is actually lvl 39…

I wouldn’t know where to start 😂 Besides, wouldn’t that mean I would have to pretty much start over again? Don’t that twice now. And even though I love the game, I don’t think I am up for redoing it all a third time.

No, it wouldn't. You should backup your game files, but I don't know whether resurecting a boss (by removing him from the list there) would still give you the achievement after killing it again.
old fix for saving biscuit was opening the save file and removing the line where it saved that you unlocked the padlock for biscuit

Oooh! Well, sadly I’m not that handy with computers. Hahahaha I know how to turn them on and such, but other than that… well, let’s just say it’s better I stay away from the more complicated stuff 😜
I will just continue this play through and hope for the best. Hope that even though the map say I didn’t collect that chest (even though I have) and for some weird reason it shows another collectible chest above, before you exit that cave, that it will not be an issue.
In any case, should you manage to take a look at that cave and right before you exit, use revelio and also see a chest above you, pls let me know.

According to all the sites I have Googled, it should be the only chest. But for some reason it shows another one for me near the exit. I’ll make a screenshot of it tomorrow and post it in here so you know I’m not making it up.

3rd: Shows mini map (with second collection chest chest above me) and on the top right you can see the chest after using Revelio. With no way up.

For the gryffindor one, don't think the map will count the ones in cairns, as explained.
and for the slitherin, it should be a collection chest, not that one
so yeah, you are missing a place in horklump hollow, with the collection chest (see image for how the sprite should look like)

It’s probably the brother who died. I forget his name. But that bugged for me too, you have to go find some ladies brother and turns out he’s dead and you had to kill him with a bunch of Inferi

There is no other chest in that region for me. I opened that one chest in that cave and it didn’t count as opened. And for some reason it shows another one above me where I can’t get too. Every walkthrough/site says there is only one collection chest in that cave and I got that one, but it didn’t count

You can get to it, the chest you showed isn’t a collection chest. Your screenshot is a gear chest

I just finished the Slytherin play through and on this play through the infamous foes was no problem. Now it is only this one chest.
I’ll just leave my Gryffindor play through for what it is (for now). Maybe they will fix it in the future. I just want at least one of my play throughs to be complete

I’ll have to visit all locations one more time. But if it is indeed one of the quest ones, then I won’t be able to complete that play through unless they fix that bug.
