So I'm struggling with fps in this game. Please don't ask me for the specs because I ran this game on high/ultra settings and got steady 30 fps just last week for 6 hours.

Issue is, every time I restart the pc, it goes back to running at around 10 fps regardless of what I do and I'm having to tweak stuff to find a good setting.

Yesterday I tried different Nvidia drivers from December to February. With the newest driver, the game doesn't even launch it crashes at shader screen.

With December driver I'm getting 15 fps.

So which driver works best for gtx 1080?

In addition, why is my game running at a different fps every day?

Latest drivers are always the best option. Try reinstalling drivers with ddu. Also try manually changing the dlss to 3.1.1 v2 for better dlss performance

Latest drivers worked best for me. But I did have to install manually, and NOT let Geforce Experience install it for me. For whatever reason the game was super choppy and laggy if I let Geforce Experience install the drivers. Try to install the latest driver manually from the nvidia website. Hope this helps!
