Hey there! I was wondering if I would lose my progress in a main quest if I were to abandon it. I've tried searching for answers but didn't find any. I'm at the end of the main quest but in a fight and I need more Wiggenweld 😅 so I was hoping to abandon the quest and then come back when I'm more prepared but I don't want to have to redo it all from the beginning of said quest. Thanks! ^^

I don’t know who you’re fighting, but here goes a piece of advice: get some Edurus potion as well. It will help a lot.
