I've come across multiple of these platforms but I have no clue what they're for or how to interact with them. What are they and what do I do with it? Thanksss

These are landing platforms. Just stand on it to activate it. It servers no purpose other than completing the landing platform challenges which will give you reward. You can track that challenge in the challenges menu in game
